Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump will take the national stage Tuesday evening to debate for the first time since Harris took over the Democratic ticket – an eagerly awaited, high-stakes showdown that provides both candidates with one of their few remaining opportunities to sway large numbers of voters before the November election. The event, broadcast by ABC News, will be Trump’s second of the presidential cycle and Harris’ first.

Her appearance will mark a major opportunity for voters to measure her against the bombastic former president.
