Professor Emeritus of Criminology and Criminal Justice

Donna M. Bishop taught for two decades in the Florida University System before joining the faculty at Northeastern University in 1999. For nearly three decades, her research and scholarship have focused primarily on juvenile justice and youth policy. She is the author of two books-including The Oxford Handbook of Juvenile Crime and Juvenile Justice (Oxford, 2012), and over sixty articles and monographs. Her major works focus on juvenile law reform, race and gender inequities in justice processing, and juvenile transfer policy and practice.
