Graduate Research Assistant - Kickstarting a Youth-Centered Green Economy for the Environmental Justice Community of East Boston
This GRA will support a team to co-design and implement a survey about household energy program adoption in East Boston, working closely with youth. The GRA will be responsible for supporting data collection and analysis. The GRA will work closely with Profs. Kuhl and Constantino.

Project Description
This project is a collaboration with Eastie Farm, a grassroots NGO in East Boston, working with youth on green jobs training. One component of the project is focused on social science training and energy program adoption by environmental justice households, which is the aspect this position would be engaged with. Other components are focused on marsh restoration in collaboration with the Hughes Lab at Northeastern, and urban agriculture with Eastie Farm.

Qualifications Necessary
Interest in energy transitions, energy efficiency, commitment to ethical community-engaged research, willingness to work closely with youth in East Boston, ideally, Spanish language fluency, but not required

10 Hour Position
