Computational Social Science Office Hours
NULab Assistant Director Sean P. Rogers offers biweekly, hybrid office hours focused on computational social science (CSS), open to the entire Northeastern community. These sessions are also a welcoming space for anyone working in or curious about digital humanities (DH).
CSS office hours are designed for anyone who is:
- Developing or refining CSS or DH research questions
- Exploring data sources or methodological approaches
- Working with Python, R, or SQL for data analysis
- Seeking feedback on project ideas or next steps
- Looking to learn more about CSS or DH methods
Location and time: NULab room, alternating Thursdays (see schedule below) from 11am-1pm, Centers for Digital Scholarship (Boston Campus, Snell Library, floor 3). Zoom appointments available upon request.
No appointment is required for in-person consultation—feel free to drop in, but priority will go to individuals with appointments. If you need access to the CDS, please submit the access request form.
If you prefer to schedule a meeting outside regular hours, please email Sean at se.rogers@northeastern.edu
