Julie Boudoukara, M.Ed
Program Coordinator International Affairs
Julie Boudoukara is the Program Coordinator for International Affairs. As the sole staff member, she is responsible for all event planning, budget management, and class scheduling. Julie assists with the Introduction to International Affairs class and the International Affairs Dialogue of Civilizations. She is the communications administrator and manages the website, newsletters, social media, and marketing. Julie supervises work study students and is the liaison with peer mentors. She supports the Middle East Studies Program, among many other tasks.
Julie is a returning member of the College of Social Sciences and Humanities Staff Advisory Council, serving this year as well in years past. She was a member of the university’s Staff Mentoring Circles and the CSSH New Staff Navigator program serving as a mentor to new staff hires.
A two-time Northeastern alumna, Julie recently earned her Master’s Degree in Education, previously a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Prior to joining International Affairs in 2017, she worked for several years at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University as the student services manager, previously an academic advisor and associate registrar, among other roles at various Boston art colleges.
She is the two-time recipient of the College of Social Sciences and Humanities Outstanding Staff Award, received in 2025 and in 2021.
