Assistant Co-op Coordinator: English (BA, BS, MA), Political Science (BA, BS),

Michaela Modica is an Assistant Co-op Coordinator at Northeastern University, where she primarily works with undergraduate and graduate students, academic faculty, and employers within the English and Political Science programs. In her role, Michaela is dedicated to facilitating meaningful co-op experiences that align with students’ academic goals and career aspirations.

Michaela has been a part of the College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH) since 2015, contributing to academic advising, student engagement, and undergraduate recruitment. She joined the CSSH Co-op team in 2023, bringing her extensive experience to help students navigate the transition from classroom to workplace.

She holds an Ed.M in Higher Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BA in Psychology from UMass Amherst. Before joining Northeastern, Michaela worked with local education-focused nonprofit organizations, where she developed a strong commitment to supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
