AI Applications for Policy and Regulation
Students will examine the rapidly evolving role of technology and artificial intelligence in public policy and the criminal legal system, learning tools to navigate this complex and critical field. Students will explore how AI intersects with legal processes and constitutional criminal procedure rules while gaining a foundational understanding of how these technologies work. Through a social science lens, the program analyzes the development, implementation, and societal effects of AI, preparing graduates to address legal and ethical challenges and shape innovative policies in a technology-driven world.
