Jessica Linker
Assistant Professor of History
Professor Linker’s teaching and impact is remarkable both for its breadth and depth. She applies her interdisciplinary, student-centered, experiential approaches to course work including early America, the history of science and technology, women and gender, the history of the book, and the digital humanities. In addition to innovative classroom approaches that bring students to the forefront of technology and the archival wealth of the Boston area, Professor Linker mentors research projects and fosters opportunities for students to explore and share their work in research networks at the university and beyond. Professor Linker says, “I imagine all of my students as successful” and, with her intensive support, they are.
