Ethics of Biology and Biotechnology in Space

Biology and biotechnology are indispensable enablers for the future of human space exploration and the creation of long-term habitats in space. After all, biology provides environmental services crucial to sustaining life on Earth. This project seeks to develop ethical guidance for biology and biotechnology use in space to inform international standards and foster international cooperation.
