Andrés Shahidinejad

Andrés Shahidinejad is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Northeastern University. He holds a joint appointment as an Assistant Professor of Finance at the D’Amore McKim School of Business at Northeastern University.
His major research areas are in household and consumer finance. He studies the role of nonprofit banks in credit markets, how data-sharing agreements among lenders help reduce informational asymmetries, and the determinants of access to banking services across geography.Andrés received a BA in Economics from Brandeis University and a Ph.D. in Economics and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
