
Teaching Professor of Economics
Michael Stone joined Northeastern after serving four years as an assistant professor at Quinnipiac University. He received his PhD in economics in 2010 from the University of Connecticut, and also holds a JD from the University of Connecticut School of Law. His areas of specialization are law and economics, public economics, and applied microeconomics. His research has appeared in International Review of Law and Economics and Contemporary Economic Policy, among other journals.
