The Humanities Center will host a symposium in honor of its inaugural Global Fellow Program, which brings together top humanities researchers from our Global Network to collaborate on projects related to the topic of “unsettling.”  

This symposium focused on poetry as a medium through which unsettling can occur and featured the acclaimed poet Elise Paschen (Osage Nation), Julianna Sphar, a poet and Professor of English at Northeastern University Oakland, our Distinguished Visiting Professor in Residence and celebrated poet, Gordon Henry (Ojibwe).
