Humanities In Action Research Assistantships

The Humanities Center proudly launched Humanities in Action: Global Experiential Research Assistantships, a dynamic new program advancing collaborative, publicly engaged humanities research across Northeastern’s global network. Building on the success of its spring 2025 cross-campus pilot in Oakland and Boston, this initiative empowers undergraduate students with immersive, hands-on research experiences while amplifying the impact of the Center’s Signature Projects. In its inaugural year, thirteen student researchers are contributing to five Signature Projects, working collaboratively across campuses and bringing fresh perspectives to innovative, globally connected humanities research.
