2019 Ruderman Lecture: Michael Pollan, What Can Psychedelics Teach Us About Spirituality?

The Jewish Studies Program is thrilled to be welcoming author Michael Pollan as the speaker for the 2019 Ruderman Lecture. Usually held in the spring, this year the lecture will take place September 24th at 6 pm.

Michael Pollan is the author of numerous best-selling books including Cooked, Food Rules, In Defense of Food: An Eater’s Manifesto. His most recent book, How to Change Your Mind: What the New Science of Psychedelics Teaches Us About Consciousness, Dying, Addiction, Depression, and Transcendence, was an immediate New York Times #1 bestseller, and will be the basis for his talk at Northeastern, entitled: What Can Psychedelics Teach Us About Spirituality?
