…moderated a panel at The Elie Wiesel Center for Jewish Studies at Boston University entitled “US Jews and Israel: Are we headed for divorce?” Other panelists included Peter Beinart, Rachel Fish, Eve Spangler and Dov Waxman. Professor Waxman is the Stotsky Professor of Jewish Historical and Cultural Studies at Northeastern University, and a member of the Jewish Studies Executive Committee.
… delivered a keynote address for the MetroWest Community Commemoration of Yom Hashoah Holocaust Memorial Day, for the program Witnessing Memory: The Testimony of Survivors & Their Descendants.
… conducted a talk-back following a performance of the play “Indecent,” at the Huntington Theater. (She recommends the show warmly!)
…offered the opening talk for the tikkun leil Shavuot program at Temple Israel of Natick. She spoke on the Book of Ruth.
