Current Northeastern MA and PhD students can pursue the DH Certificate as part of completing their degree requirements; students express their intention to pursue the Certificate program by enrolling in the NULab Project Seminar (INSH 7910). Starting in 2021–2022, students can also pursue the DH Certificate as a standalone course of study. See here to apply. If you have questions, please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The deadlines for the standalone certificate are April 1 for students wishing to enroll in the fall and October 15 for students wishing to enroll in the spring.
To apply for the standalone Certificate, please submit the following materials through the application portal:
- At least one letter of recommendation—you may submit a second letter, if you choose
- A personal statement that describes your background and research interests, your professional goals and motivations for entering this graduate program, any relevant prior experience (for instance, job-related expertise, familiarity with specific tools and methods), and if relevant a possible area of research or practice within the graduate program.
Graduate tuition is billed at the CSSH rate per semester hour of credit, the full details of which can be found at: https://studentfinance.northeastern.edu/billing-payments/tuition-and-fees/.
