Martha Durkee-Neuman graduated in 2018 as a Human Services and International Affairs major with a minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Her academic and civic interests lie in reproductive justice, equity in sexual education, and gun violence prevention. She spent time working with Oxfam America in Washington DC, doing strategic campaigning for refugee rights. In addition to her work with the Social Impact Lab, she served as the Outreach Chair for the Sexual Assault Response Coalition (SARC) and as an executive board member with the Northeastern University Interfaith Council. Martha now continues to pursue grassroots community organizing and policy advocacy.
Martha received her Master’s in Divinity/Ministry from Harvard Divinity School and is currently working as the Intern Minister at the Edmonds Unitarian Universalist Church.
