Tuesday, November 9th | 5:00 PM EST | The Cabral Center

The Africana Studies Program is thrilled to host Mayor Kim Janey, alongside the College of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Humanities Center, the Office of City and Community Engagement, the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs, the Dukakis Center for Urban and Regional Policy, and the John D. O’Bryant African American Institute.

This is the second event in the Africana Studies Program 2021-2022 series, “Reimagining Together.”

At this particular moment in the history of our city and the country at large, we are pleased to be able to host Kim Janey to reflect on her experience as the first and only Black woman mayor in Boston.
