Latin American Student Organization (LASO)
Mission Statement: “Dedicated to the Advancement of Our Culture and the Preservation of Our Identity.”
Since its inception, LASO’s goals have been to promote a positive image of Latin American culture, to inspire, develop, and promote leadership within the membership, to improve the college experience for Northeastern University’s Latin American students and the overall student body, and to contribute to the progress of the Latin American population beyond Northeastern University through various outreach programs.

Latino/a Student Cultural Center (LSCC)
Mission Statement: The Latino/a Student Cultural Center (LSCC) and Northeastern Latino/a Community seek to empower Latino/a leaders of tomorrow in an increasingly global environment through their academic, personal and professional development.”
The Latino Center at Northeastern University is more than a resource center for our students; it is a home away from home. The LSCC empowers Latino/a leaders of tomorrow in an increasingly global environment through their academic, personal and professional development. The Center promotes interactions between NU students from diverse backgrounds to enhance their academic, cultural, and social experience.
