Internship/Co-op/Study Abroad are strongly encouraged.
A student minoring in LLACS who completes the equivalent of one semester term as an intern in an organization or business that works with the Latin@ population in the US, Latin American or Caribbean in some capacity will have up to three courses counted towards the minor.
Internships may be paid or unpaid.
To receive credit, the student must submit a follow-up report regarding his or her work experience. Another way to fulfill the requirement is through a study abroad program.
Please consult the LLACS faculty and staff about a wide range of opportunities in this regard.
