Lea Vugić
Assistant Teaching Professor
Lea Vugić is an assistant teaching professor in the Human Services Program. She is a licensed social worker with years of experience providing mental health services and program development in non-profit, community, and hospital settings. In these roles, she has worked with diverse communities from the U.S. and around the world who have been affected by interpersonal, community, and historical violence as well as natural disasters and war. Dr. Vugić’s teaching and research activities center social justice, institutional and systems change, equity, and trauma-and-culturally responsive approaches.
