Dennis Jjuuko

Lecturer of Political Science and International Affairs
Dennis Jjuuko joined Northeastern’s College of Social Sciences and Humanities in Fall 2024, teaching Comparative Politics in the Department of Political Science. He is currently a Visiting Lecturer for International Affairs teaching Global Political Economy. Dennis is equally a fellow of the African Leadership Centre at King’s College London where he is involved with the Leading Practitioners Program. His role is to support research and theorizing of Dr. Kizza Besigye’s (Uganda’s leading opposition figure) practice of leadership in Uganda’s politics with an aim of producing a book with Dr. Besigye documenting his leadership journey. Dennis has published on neoliberal economics and healthcare, witness-protection, refugee policies in East Africa, and the International Criminal Court’s programming. Dennis also teaches courses on Africa, Evolution of the Global System, and International Relations.
