People in this story

Applications for the 2021 New England Humanities Consortium seed grants are now open! The NEHC request for proposals offers a $5,000 grant in support of projects that are collaborations among faculty between two or more member institutions in the Consortium: Amherst College, Colby College, Dartmouth College, Northeastern University, Tufts University, the University of Connecticut, the University of New Hampshire, the University of Rhode Island, the University of Vermont, Wellesley College, and Wheaton College. Priority will be given to applications demonstrating concrete plans for consortium membership involvement. If you have or can envision a project that might qualify, complete submission guidelines are available here.

Examples of past collaborative projects can be found on the NEHC website here. If you’re interested in applying, please reach out to Northeastern Humanities Center Director Lori Lefkovitz (l.lefkovitz@northeastern.edu) and consult with your partners at consortium institutions. Completed applications are due to Lori by Tuesday, September 14, 2021.
