Allegra Mangione, Honoree

Allegra Mangione

Allegra Mangione was honored because of her outstanding achievements in impact on the campus community, service, global engagement, leadership, innovative spirit, and commitment to the ideals and values of Northeastern.

Mangione has epitomized Northeastern’s commitment to global education, having worked or studied in Ecuador, Jordan, South Africa, and Nepal, with an emphasis on community development, social enterprise, and the nonprofit sector. As a teaching assistant for Rebecca Riccio’s course, “The Nonprofit Sector, Philanthropy, and Social Change,” she helped students learn how to visualize their emerging understanding of complex social problems through systems mapping.
