Please join us for “Black Collectives, Black Data, and Public Imperatives,” a talk and workshop by Sarah Patterson and Jim Casey of the Colored Conventions Project. Casey and Patterson will offer a talk on building public engagement initiatives and intellectual collectives, followed by a workshop in which participants will have an opportunity to transcribe materials themselves and a discussion on how transcription projects connect with historical and contemporary publics.
