Three human services students were recipients of the Community Service Leadership Award

Posted on May 10, 2017 by nuslearning

Each year the Center of Community Service honors a select group of undergraduate students with the Community Service Leadership Award. This award, first given out in 2006, now recognizes graduating seniors who have made a positive impact on the Northeastern and local communities, and has engaged in three or more Center of Community Service programs over the course of two or more years. The Service-Learning Program is particularly excited to take part in honoring these five exceptional students because all of them were a Service-Learning Teaching Assistant at one point in their undergraduate career, and three of them also served as a Service-Learning Team Manager. Please join us in congratulating our five awardees for 2016-2017:

Special kudos to Human Services Majors Liza Ashely, Katie Elliot and Suzie Kim.
