Three human services students were recipients of the Community Service Leadership Award
Posted on May 10, 2017 by nuslearning
Each year the Center of Community Service honors a select group of undergraduate students with the Community Service Leadership Award. This award, first given out in 2006, now recognizes graduating seniors who have made a positive impact on the Northeastern and local communities, and has engaged in three or more Center of Community Service programs over the course of two or more years. The Service-Learning Program is particularly excited to take part in honoring these five exceptional students because all of them were a Service-Learning Teaching Assistant at one point in their undergraduate career, and three of them also served as a Service-Learning Team Manager. Please join us in congratulating our five awardees for 2016-2017:

Liza Ashley
Chelsea Elder
Katie Elliot
Caroline Fried
Suzie Kim
Award recipients were recognized at Northeastern’s annual Student Life Awards hosted by our colleagues in the Center for Student Involvement, as well as a small reception with Center of Community Service and Northeastern Crossing colleagues, friends, and family.
Special kudos to Human Services Majors Liza Ashely, Katie Elliot and Suzie Kim.
