Nina (Kristina) AngelesFulbright Fellowship
Fulbright Scholarship to engage in research on the role of social enterprise among Palestinian refugees in Jordan.

Liza Ashley, helped accept the Husky Award for Organizational Excellence for Strong Women Strong Girls (SWSG)

Chrissy Beluk, Center for Community Services – Service Leadership Award
This award specifically recognizes graduating seniors who have participated in 3 or more Center of Community Services programs over the past two plus years, and has made a lasting contribution to our Center, campus and local communities.

Emily BlackwellThe Richard Cardinal Cushing Award
The Richard Cardinal Cushing Award was established in 1978 through the generosity of the Massachusetts Committee of Catholics, Protestants, and Jews. Income from the award’s endowment is awarded annually to “a Catholic, a Protestant, and a Jewish student who embody the principles of brotherhood and justice and who, through their work on campus, have become positive forces for religious understanding.” Student nominees will be expected to demonstrate both a commitment/leadership within their own campus faith community, and positive connection/collaboration with those of other faiths.

Becky (Rebecca) Darling, Huntington 100
Northeastern University’s “Huntington 100” is a group of students selected for their outstanding achievements locally and globally. The Huntington 100 were nominated by faculty, staff, and peers.

Martha Durkee-Neuman, RISE Finalist
Martha along with her team developed G.A.M.E. (Girls Access Menstruation Education) functions on many levels: improving personal health issues, raising awareness and educational campaigning, as well as accessing political and cultural change for women.

Ali FrankelThe Greg Jarvis Memorial Scholarship and Huntington 100
The Greg Jarvis Memorial Scholarship named for Greg Jarvis, Northeastern Alumnus and crewmember about the Challenger space shuttle. Recipients of this scholarship are seniors who have demonstrated the perseverance, integrity, spirit and pride, which Mr. Jarvis exemplified so well.

Northeastern University’s “Huntington 100” is a group of students selected for their outstanding achievements locally and globally. The Huntington 100 were nominated by faculty, staff, and peers.

Océane LangreneyPresidential Global Fellow and Shores C. Salter Award for Outstanding Citizenship
The Shores C. Salter Award for Outstanding Citizenship, honors the breave acts of Salter, a Northeastern student who showed exceptional courage and compassion, going above and beyond to help Boston Marathon victims in 2013. Whether it is helping to raise funds for a noteworthy cause, volunteering time, lending a helping hand or helping to make our campus or the world a better place, this award rec­og­nizes a stu­dent who has made an out­standing con­tri­bu­tions to the local or global com­mu­nity through ser­vice, lead­er­ship, and dedication.

Camille SerelusThe Matthew Shepard and Morris S. Kay Scholarship
The Matthew Shepard and Morris S. Kay Scholarship honors the memory of Matthew Shepard, a gay youth whose 1998 death was the result of a brutal hate crime. This scholarship recognizes students who are actively working for gay, lesbian, and LGBTQA justice issues or other social justice issues.
