Human Services alum, Dayna Altman (BS ’15, MPH ’18) is hosting a workshop on April 20th, inspired by her upcoming cookbook “Bake it Till You Make it: Breaking Bread, Building Resilience.” The mental health and resilience cookbook is anticipated to come out on June 1st, but she is taking every opportunity before then to share her story and help you find your’s too! The workshop is from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM at Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee Shop in Lynn MA. Come learn about Dayna’s inspiration for the cookbook and from those who contributed. You will then have the opportunity to work on telling your story through an interactive art workshop, where participants have the creative freedom to make art inspired by their own life experiences. The workshop is suggested for those in high school and above. Younger children are welcome to come but are highly suggested to come around 11:15am as the heavy topics will have already been discussed and the focus on art will begin.
