You’re With Us!

This organization describes itself as a non-profit human services organization that creates inclusion opportunities for young adults who, because of their disabilities, are not part of a group, community, or activity that would be typical of their able bodied peers. They hope to change people’s perspectives of  disabled young people. You can volunteer as a “Support” where you attend meetings, practices, and games with the participant. There are various opportunities throughout the week (mostly on campus) that you can sign up for if you’d like, but no weekly commitments! They also have a student group. If you’re interested or have any other questions contact Jess Genco at genco.j@husky.neu.edu.

Have a friend that wants to join but isn’t on our email list?  The more the merrier! Bring them along to our next meeting and have them email us at neuhso@gmail.com so we can add them to our list!

Don’t forget to join the HSO page on OrgSync along with following our social media accounts for the most updated and exciting information.

Thank you for your interest in HSO!

Have a PHENOMENAL WEEK!
