Background about the Carter School
The Carter School is a school with highly individualized educational programs for students ranging in age from 12 to 22 who have both severe, intensive disabilities and complex health needs. It’s practically on campus, and it’s a great place to volunteer.
Volunteer opportunities
Autism Speaks Greater Boston Walk
They need help Sunday October 14th 7:30am-12:30pm in Boston Common with set up, clean up, greeting participants as they arrive, and cheering walkers at water stops. If you’re interested, please sign up for the doodle here, and we’ll give you more info.
Step Up and Speak Out Benefit for Children’s Advocacy
They will need help with guest greeting, the silent auction, fundraising call to action, and overall event support. This event will be Wednesday October 17, 2018 5:30-9pm at the UMass Club of Boston. It is a weekday, but we saw that a good amount of you are available, so let us know if you’d be interested here!
