Human Services students and faculty were well represented at Clinton Global Initiative University in 2017.

We are deeply proud that the Human Services students and faculty were so well represented at the Clinton Global Initiative University this past weekend. Here are just a few examples of our team’s contribution to the ideas and lessons exchanged over the weekend:

Dayna Altman created a documentary about healing from sexual violence.

Vanessa Cohen created a self-explanatory kit to improve underprivileged preschool curriculum that encourages teachers to think outside of the box and lowers their dependence on material donations.

Martha Durkee-Neuman and her team shared their ideas on committing to conflict resolution and peaceful interfaith dialogue.

Social Impact Lab Director Rebecca Riccio moderated a panel on holding ourselves accountable for the impact of our work.

Enormous thanks and congratulations to our colleagues in the Northeastern Center of Community Service for organizing Sunday’s Day of Action with hundreds of students volunteering throughout Boston. Check out some of our favorite pictures from this past weekend below!
