Human Services Highlight – Julia Moore

Human Services student Julia Moore is a remote intern at Coast 2 Coast. The organization recently interviewed her about her passion for the environment and education as part of their #MovementTalks series. She told them that “As I got older it became clear to me that people are the key — the key to protecting our environment, creating positive global change, and striving towards an equitable society that values all people for their differences.”

About Coast 2 Coast:

Partnering with local educational institutions, Coast 2 Coast enables rural youth from small-scale fishing communities to be resilient researchers and science communicators, exploring their ancient seas and ancestral villages using new “edutainment” mediums and accessible transmedia tools to co-create stories rooted in traditional knowledge, fortified by science, and expressed through their imaginations for their ocean and communities’ sustainable futures.
