“Contemporary Issues in Security and Resilience Studies” Speaker Series Event
Laura Kuhl, Assistant Professor of Public Policy and Urban Affairs and International Affairs, studies climate adaptation and resilience in developing countries. Her Ph.D. at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, examined innovation, technology transfer and adoption for adaptation in the agricultural sector. She has conducted fieldwork in Ethiopia, Honduras, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and New England on issues related to climate adaptation. She is a recipient of a National Science Foundation IGERT Fellowship in Water Diplomacy, and has collaborated with the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) on research projects related to climate adaptation and resilience.
