Interview – Amy Scheffler

Photo of Amy Scheffler

Why did you choose this major, and does/did it seem like the right major for you? Why?

I chose my major (Human Services and International Affairs 2011) because I always envisioned myself lending a helping hand to individuals–both in a domestic and international context. I knew that it would be important to learn about the politics, norms, and developments on the international stage in order to make my dreams a reality and work in the ever-expanding, global Human Services field.
