Interview – Sarah Lucey

sarah lucey

I chose Human Services after completing the freshman volunteer program, nuSERVES, run through the Center of Community Service. I came into Northeastern as an undeclared major, and had never even heard of Human Services, but once I learned of it from upperclassmen leaders of nuSERVES and through the informational major fairs on-campus, I soon declared it before the end of my first semester. I also declared my two minors in the following two semesters because I love taking a variety of courses, but knew that they needed to be accounted for! I do feel that my major/minors is the right combination for me, something I have discovered through my course work, service-learning, advisers and professors. All of these components have worked well together in providing a great experience in my time at Northeastern so far!
