Spring Break Experience Opportunity

This year the Northeastern University Alternative Breaks Program will run 10 Alternative Spring Break trips from Saturday, March 4 to Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Alternative Breaks is an immersive service and learning experience. Northeastern students volunteer with community organizations that address critical social issues, such as affordable housing, environmental conservation, food security, and public health. Through meaningful action, reflection, and education, our volunteers explore new places and cultures, work with people from different communities, and develop problem-solving and leadership skills for the future.

The priority deadline for the Alternative Spring Break volunteer application is Friday, October 21, 2022 at 11:59PM (ET). After the priority deadline, applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. If you are interested in serving as a volunteer for an Alternative Spring Break Trip, please thoroughly review the Alternative Spring Break information packet before completing the application.
