This workshop is a collaboration between the Asian American Resource Workshop (AARW) and Northeastern Crossing! Join us on Thursday, November 3rd for a conversation on Health Equity. We will begin the workshop by breaking down the term “health equity”, contrasting it with “health equality” and looking at the impacts of systems of oppression on health outcomes in the City of Boston. We will discuss Asian American health outcomes and seek to place this information in the context of health outcomes of other communities of color in this city. This workshop will use interactive activities, such as simulations, small groups, and storytelling. Hope to see you there!
Note: this event is free but we will be capping this workshop at 40 people. Please click the ticket link to RSVP and reserve your spot!
or sign up here.
Another note on language: When we say Asian American, we mean *all* identities across the Asian Diaspora, including but not limited to: South East Asians, South Asians, Pacific Islanders, East Asians
