Jasmine Mitchell

Criminology and Criminal Justice, MS

Jasmine Mitchell is a master’s student in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Northeastern University and a research assistant for Dr. Eric Piza in the Crime Prevention Lab. Her research focuses on corrections, reentry, policing, and domestic violence, with a particular interest in evidence-based approaches to reform. Prior to joining Northeastern, Jasmine worked with Quinnipiac University’s Pardons Clinic to assist Connecticut residents in applying for Absolute Pardons and interned with the National Reentry Network for Returning Citizens in Washington, D.C.
