Maggie Gourville
Cultural Anthropology and International Affairs
Graduated 2019
In high school, Maggie was a competitive Irish dancer as well as a cross-country runner. During her senior year, Maggie became interested in Northeastern because of the co-op program and the ability to easily combine majors. She already knew that she wanted to be an Anthropology major but she wanted to study that alongside something else. Maggie liked the idea of International Affairs, and when she started with it, it clicked that those subjects were the right combination for her.

“My Anthropology degree made me more observant of the world around me. It has made me more curious and ask more questions about what’s going on. This degree has been the most useful to me in my everyday life and for my jobs — really it has gotten me ready for just about anything.”
