Caitlin McGill’s essays appear in Inside Higher Ed, Blackbird, Solstice, and beyond

Caitlin McGill’s essay, “I Teach, Therefore I Essay,”was published in Inside Higher Ed, along with “Beyond Grief,” which was published in the spring issue of Blackbird: an online journal of literature and the arts. Her essay, “Breaking Boundaries,” was a finalist in Solstice Literary Magazine’s 2017 contest and appears in their summer issue.

Other publications include her craft essay in the Blackbird’s “Tracking the Muse” series and an excerpt from her memoir, “Paved in Gold,” in Consequence. She presented on the panel “A Question of Class: the Art of Writing from Below the Middle” at the Association of Writers and Writing Programs in March 2018.
