Brudnick Center Student Research Award
Brudnick Center on Violence and Conflict supports research that seeks solutions to problems of hostility and hatred arising from inter-group conflict and differences. The expectation is that the research results will lead to increased understating of the sources of inter-group tension and hatred in order to promote cooperation between and among groups.
Eligibility: All College of Social Sciences and Humanities graduate students at Northeastern University are eligible.
Deadline: March 31, 2019
Decisions will be made by April 15, 2019
Award Amount: Up to $2,000
Application Materials:
- A two-page statement that describes the research project (research questions, theoretical framework, research methodology and importance of the project to seeking solutions to inter-group conflict and violence)
- Curriculum vitae or Resume of the applicant
- Letter of support by faculty familiar with applicant’s research
Reporting Requirements:
Successful applicant will submit a two-page mid-year report and a two-page final report to the Brudnick Center Program Director.
