Brudnick Center Student Research Award

The Brudnick Center on Violence and Conflict supports research that seeks solutions to problems of hostility and hatred arising from inter-group conflict and differences. The expectation is that the research results will lead to increased understating of the sources of inter-group tension and hatred in order to promote cooperation between and among groups.

Eligibility: All College of Social Sciences and Humanities graduate students at Northeastern University are eligible.

Deadline: April 19, 2024

Decisions will be made by May 3, 2024

Award Amount: Up to $2,000

Application Materials:

· A two-page statement that describes the research project (research questions, theoretical framework, research methodology and importance of the project to seeking solutions to inter-group conflict and violence)

· Curriculum vitae or Resume of the applicant

· Letter of support by faculty familiar with applicant’s research

Reporting Requirements:

Successful applicant will submit a two-page, mid-year report and a two-page, final report to the Brudnick Center Program Director.

The award is made possible by the Irving and Betty Brudnick Fund.
