NU-Public Evaluation Lab (NU-PEL)  

The Public Evaluation Lab (NU-PEL) is a joint partnership with the Institute on Health Equity and Social Justice Research) – NU-PEL is an interdisciplinary lab comprised of faculty and student teams conducting evaluation research on what is/is not successful in various community programs that leads to healthier communities and enhances the lives of those living within them. NU-PEL works collaboratively with organizations to determine their unique evaluation needs and provide appropriate evaluation assistance.   

Boston Area Research Initiative (BARI)  

The Boston Area Research Initiative (BARI) is an interuniversity partnership that pursues original urban research on the cutting edge of scholarship and public policy, with an emphasis on opportunities created by novel digital data. BARI develops technologies that make emergent data sources accessible for research, policy, and practice, centered around BARI’s flagship project, the Boston Data Portal where researchers, policymakers, and community members can map and download data generated by BARI projects.
