Lethal Violence Data Lab

The Lethal Violence Data Lab utilizes existing data to understand the causes, consequences, and prevention of lethal violence, with an emphasis on community. Faculty leverage existing data on lethal violence and context. The lab provides resources and information for merging existing data with primary data collection efforts. As such, the lab is a resource for students using existing data for course papers, comprehensive exams, and dissertations. Existing data highlighted in the lab include the Mass Killing Database maintained by Northeastern University in conjunction with the Associated Press and USA TODAY.
