Northeastern University School of Criminology and Criminal Justice offers four one-credit courses in Crime Analysis and Mapping taught by Crime Prevention Lab Director Eric Piza as a response to calls to integrate data-driven policing into the organizational culture of public safety agencies. Crime analysis and mapping are key components of evidence-based programs that simultaneously promote crime prevention and social justice, and are essential tools utilized within the CPL and CRJ.
