NECAT appoints Maddrey Goode as its Executive Director

“I'm excited to join the NECAT team. As a life-long Bostonian it's a pleasure to lead an organization that has impacted so many lives in our community. I look forward to working with NECAT’s staff, students, partner agencies and supporters to continue to build on the organization’s successes.”

As of February 3, 2025, Maddrey Goode began working as Executive Director of New England Culinary Arts Training (NECAT), a nonprofit organization that offers free culinary arts training to adults seeking to work in the foodservice industry. Prior to taking on this role, Goode served as Chief of Staff to the City of Boston’s Office of Black Male Advancement and previously had a long career at MassHire Boston Career Center operated by Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries, where he served as Director since 2014.

NECAT is very pleased to announce the appointment of Maddrey Goode as its Executive Director since Maddrey brings a wealth of workforce development experience and community relationships to NECAT.
