Kiang accepts position at Case Western Reserve University

Shun Y. Kiang (PhD ’15) has accepted a position of Lecturer in the SAGES program, housed in the English Department, at Case Western Reserve University. He is currently at work on an essay, “‘The other with the whip’: Human Intervention as Natural Disaster in H. G. Wells’ The Island of Doctor Moreau, for the edited volume Victorian Environmental Nightmares (Palgrave Macmillan). Shun defended his dissertation, “‘Only Connect’: Friendship, Belonging, and Space in the Works of J. M. Barrie, E. M. Forster, and J. R. Ackerley,” (directed by Laura Morgan Green) on April 16th, 2015.
