Congratulations to our very own Allie Ziegler!
Students of CSSH: We are proud to announce Allie Ziegler, History/Environmental Studies ’26, as the winner of this year’s CSSH Ruth E. Sullivan Memorial Award & Scholarship, which recognizes undergraduate excellence in interdisciplinary study.
Allie has shown initiative and focus in approaching her academics, research, co-op, internship, and global engagement through an interdisciplinary lens, and has a strong understanding of how her combined major, as well as minor in Sociology, inform one another to tackle today’s most pressing environmental justice matters.
Dr. Gretchen Heefner described Allie as “one of the most articulate, curious, and dedicated students I have worked with in the past 15 years.”
Allie has been accepted to the University of Miami School of Law, where she plans to concentrate in Environmental Law and continue her advocacy work. Congratulations, Allie, and we can’t wait to see what’s next!
