Position: Guaranteed Income Pilot Program Intern

Camp Harbor View (CHV) serves local youth and their families year-round through our summer camp program and school-year Leadership Academy for middle and high school students. In addition, they have programs to support families by providing and connecting them to well-rounded resources. This year, CHV started a pilot program focusing on Guaranteed Income as an alternative to government-based social services. The program had 50 families enrolled who will be receiving a sum of about $15,000 through monthly payments over two years. Abbey as part of her co-op is working on this program, supporting the back-end of projects and upkeep and tracking of data and CHV systems.
Camp Harbor View is an upbeat environment that allows Abbey to work and collaborate with people in their career field who are incredibly experienced and knowledgeable while also working with kids and families from around Boston who are also amazing. CHV is always working on new ways to support and uplift our community and it is amazing to work on all of the projects that we have.
