Resources
Did you know that there is a place on campus that hosts free yoga every weekday? The Center for Spirituality, Dialogue and Service offers daily guided meditation from 12-12:30pm Monday-Friday, as well as free yoga 4pm Monday-Friday in the Sacred Space (200 Ell Hall). Yoga mats are provided and no experience necessary!
The CSSH Emergencies, Persistence, & Engagement Fund is a resource available to all CSSH undergraduate students that ensures all students can participate in learning and extra-curricular activities, regardless of financial challenges.Funds are available to students experiencing immediate, unanticipated, one-time needs that exceed their resources. Applications related to academics, emergencies and student involvement, may be considered.
Internship
As a part of the human services curriculum, all students are required to complete a comprehensive field experience. This may consist of a HUSV-related co-op plus other forms of experiential learning or participation in the internship program. To learn more about the Internship Program visit our website here.
Whether a student is requesting a waiver with course credit replacement or applying to take the internship course, offered in the Fall semester only, more information can be found here. The process must be completed when a student has 64 credits OR the spring semester of their third year, whichever is later.
The application or waiver must be completed by March 21st, 2025 if the student is a rising junior or senior if they haven’t already.
